IAA - WAPO ESSAY COMPETITION FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2018

Institute of Accountancy Arusha Wamama Pamoja (IAA-WAPO) is a group of women who work or once worked with the Institute of Accountancy Arusha.

In celebrating international women day 2018 IAA-WAPO brings to you a motivational essay competition. This competition is designed specifically for IAA students giving an opportunity to practice writing skills in English language and also an opportunity to share with others a positive, inspirational life experience.

The title for the essay could be: “MY MOTHER, MY INSPIRATION” or “MY SISTER, MY INSPIRATION” or “MY GRANDMOTHER, MY INSPIRATION” etc Everyone has a story to tell on how any woman has been an inspiration in your life.

The woman can be any one such as your mother, your grandmother, sister, auntie, a leader in your community or even a female teacher. This is time for you to share your experience with others. In 700 words share with us how this person has been an inspiration to you.

Guidelines

1. Only IAA Students are Eligible to participate

2. The essay should have minimum of 500 words and maximum of 700 words

3. The essay MUST be in English language

 4. Submitted essay should be well formatted (smart) word processed document

5. Should be your own original work (any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification of the essay) Submission Competitors should submit soft copy documents through email address iaawapoessaycomp@gmail.com Submission Deadline: 19thMarch, 2018 2359 hours Earlier submission is encouraged

First, second and third winners will be awarded memorable prizes by the guest of honour on IAA-WAPOs  third youth empowerment program (YEP III) event.
